2008 Snowball Effect Auction

The Snowball Effect has ended for 2008!

The Hopkinsville Renaissance Snowball Effect has ended.  Together with members of our community, the Snowball Effect has raised almost $400 to donate to Big Brother/Big Sister of Hopkinsville.  To be exact, the Snowball Effect has raised $392.40, for the program.

Next year, we hope that this program will truly have a "snowball effect."  We hope to increase the amount of donations, and increase the number of bidders, so that we can support another downtown non-profit organization.  Together, the Snowball Effect committee and the citizens of Hopkinsville have the ability to make our downtown a better place, to help the youth of our community, and ultimately to do something good that will be remembered for years to come.

For those who bid on the snowmen, thank you!  You have done a great thing for our community, and we are certain that Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Hopkinsville will make good use of the money that you have helped to raise.  Please continue to monitor the Snowball Effect for next year.  We will have new snowmen and women on which you can bid, and hopefully we will have some good competition in the bidding process.  Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

The Downtown Renaissance Snowball Effect Committee
