Everyone is invited to take part in this Black-Tie Event that celebrates the success of minority businesses and those that support minority enterprise development. This year is significant because it celebrates MEDI’s 20th year anniversary. MEDI will honor a number of individuals, businesses, and organizations whose volunteerism, leadership, and support helped MEDI to start, move forward, and succeed. In addition to a truly positive and electric atmosphere, enjoy superb live music, and be treated like royalty with complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres served. The Awards being presented are:

· Minority Business of the Year Award - recognizes an outstanding minority businessperson that has been in operation for more than 3 years, has growth and contributions to the community.

· Emerging Minority Business of the Year Award - recognizes an outstanding minority-owned business that has been operation for less than 3 years and is growing and makes contributions to the community.

· Minority Business Advocate of the Year Award - recognizes a person or business that has either tried or made significant changes and improvements in minority enterprise development.

· We Are Our Community Award - that recognizes a business or organization that works to advance minority enterprise development.
