African Artifacts on Display at the Pennyroyal Area Museum
During the months of February and March 2012, the Pennyroyal Area Museum will display a collection of African Artifacts from Kenya and Tanzania in the Pennyroyal Treasures exhibit.
This collection is owned by Hopkinsville resident Ron Hicks. Some of the items in this collection include a selection of ebony carvings, a chess set, a bow & arrow, a variety of textiles, African currency, and more.
The Pennyroyal Area Museum is located at 217 East 9th Street in downtown Hopkinsville. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Admission: Adults - $2; Seniors and Students - $1; Members - free.
