Rain Barrel at Jeffers Bend
Installed in June 2008, the 55-gallon rain barrel fills after a 1/4 inch of rain. It conveniently provides rainwater for potted plants and non-irrigated garden spots while reducing stormwater runoff from the roof at the Jeffers Bend office. Overflow is directed to a nearby lilac, and then is conveyed to the rain garden.
