The City of Hopkinsville would like to announce the eighth Free Identify Theft Prevention Shred-It Day.  This event will be held Friday, October 22, 2010, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Public Works Complex located at 705 North Main Street.

This event is open to all Christian County residents, businesses, and organizations.

If mounds of paper are taking over your home or office or you are alarmed by the increased rate of identity theft, clean out your office at home or at work.  Gather up your old files, receipts, cancelled checks, and tax forms and bring your sensitive documents to be shredded as you watch!

There is a 100 lb. per person limit.  Event is to be held rain or shine.
