The Human Resources Department is under the direction of Cheryl Nichols and currently maintains a work force of 215 employees. The Department will continually post job openings on the web site, with specific directions and printable applications available to interested parties. These applications must be completed and returned to the Human Resources Department with resume if applicable within the timeline stated. Applications will only be accepted from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. You may either email or call the Human Resources Department during our office hours with any questions or concerns. The Human Resource Department facilitates the effective delivery of City services through the provision of a professional human resource management program serving all departments within the City of Hopkinsville. The work of the Human Resources Department encompasses an effort coordinated with each department to attract, develop and retain effective City employees.
