Hopkinsville, Kentucky, March 20, 2008 – Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp has pegged Guy K. Howie, from Ocala, Florida, as Hopkinsville’s new Chief of Police. Major Howie, who replaces recently retired Chief Kermit “Butch” Yeager, will officially be appointed on May 1st.
