The Hopkinsville Police Department has been actively enforcing Vehicle a Nuisance (Loud Music) violations since Monday April 2nd.  Over the last two weeks Hopkinsville Police have cited 26 drivers and warned 22 others for playing their music at an extremely high volume, while operating their vehicles.  In addition to vehicle a nuisance violations, there were 39 other violations consisting of no seatbelts, no insurance, reckless driving, and drug arrests, which all stemmed from loud music coming from vehicles.  Hopkinsville Police will continue to actively enforce loud music violations in order to protect the rights of others and to promote public safety.
