Police Receive Call of Drugs Being Sold to Juveniles

The Hopkinsville Police Department's Street Crimes Unit responded to 628 Evergreen Park Drive after E.O.C. received a phone call that drugs were allegedly being sold to juveniles at that residence.  Police arrived at the home, just after 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, and saw a juvenile in the front yard and when officers approached the juvenile he ran into the house not complying with the officer's commands to stop.  While doing a security sweep of the home, officers located a baggie of marijuana in the master bedroom.  The Street Crimes Unit then obtained a search warrant for the house and located approximately 66 grams of crack cocaine, another baggie of marijuana, and digital scales with cocaine.  Arrested at his Evergreen Park Drive home was 28 year old Eric Donta Tandy who was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Tandy also had in his possession $1,059 cash.  Tandy was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
