Street Crimes Unit Seizes Methamphetamine
Following a drug investigation, members of the Hopkinsville Police Department's Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a home located at Lot 4 Middle Street late Thursday night. Several of the items found at the resident were items used to make methamphetamine. Items recovered by police consisted of butane cans, butane lighters, Polar De-Icer, Prestone starter fluid, glass pipes, razor blades, straws with white residue, scales, coffee filters, mason jars, grow light, baggies with white residue, 18 unknown type of pills, sudafed receipts, 380 grams of a white powder substance, and a police scanner. The home owner was not at the resident when the search warrant was being served. An arrest warrant is pending.
