8am    JSMC InMotion/Continental Mills 5K RUN

Start and finish at the intersection of 7th and Bethel Streets, near Founders Square.  Sponsored by Jennie Stuart Medical Center Sports Medicine and Continental Mills. Same great course and finish timing results as last year.  Awards will be presented to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place males and females - 13 age divisions, plus Special Olympians and wheel chair athletes.  All proceeds go toward the purchase of sports medical supplies for local high school teams.  For additional information or to register, phone 270-886-1289 or email LDR5K@jsmc.org


10am  SCHOOL CHALLENGE FUN RUN

This downtown, one-mile event is open to all school-age youth.  Each participant will receive a 2011 Little River Days T-Shirt and free skating at Hopkinsville’s Roller Dome Fun Plex on May 8th, plus a chance to win a two night stay at the Ramada Limited, Lexington, two Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center Passes, two 1-day passes to Holiday World, two $50 Walmart Gift Certificates, two one day passes to Dollywood.  Participants are encouraged to register at their schools.  The entry fee is only $6.00.  For additional information, phone 270-887-4290.  Wear your Little River Days T-shirt during the race!
 

11am  TOT TROT

Just for fun, a .2 mile course for children up to age four.  Each participant receives a 2011 Little River Days T-Shirt.  Children in strollers, accompanied by an adult, parent, or guardian are welcome!
