Saturday Swap & Shop Planned for Downtown Hopkinsville this Summer
Beginning May 1st, the Hopkinsville Division of Parks and Recreation will host the Kentucky New Era Click for Ads Saturday Swap & Shop, May through September, at Founders Square in downtown Hopkinsville.
Last year, we introduced 2nd Saturday Swap & Shop. This year, in response to community interest, obvious synergy with Farmers Market, and with continued sponsorship by the Kentucky New Era, we are making Swap & Shop a weekly event.
The hours will be 7:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m., each Saturday, except during the Little River Days Festival and holiday weekends. Saturday Swap & Shop will provide Hopkinsville residents with a convenient opportunity to buy, sell, swap, and shop.
There will be no cost to sellers and vendors for a single 10’ X 18’ space. Sellers must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Registration will be on-site the day of the event only, beginning at 6:00 a.m. Sellers must provide their own tents, tables, chairs, and displays. All food and beverage vendors must obtain a permit from the Christian County Health Department, prior to the day of the event.
