The CCL&LC believes a community that reads together succeeds together and wants our citizens to become sterling  examples of such success.  The Council is announcing a new service for Hopkinsville Christian County Public Library patrons:  The TumbleBook Library of e-books for e-kids!  The software, purchased by the Council, is available at the library as well as for classrooms in Christian County's elementary schools. 

What is just as important - every family with a LIBRARY CARD and a home computer in our community will be able to access these exciting children's books FREE!   

The CCL&LC and HCCPL are searching for new library patrons and are initiating a "Get a Library Card" Drive at the library.  To stimulate participation in our joint activities and use of the library materials, we are offering a computer laptop to some lucky library patron.  Beginning Monday, February 14 and continuing through Saturday, April 16, on every visit to HCCPL, new and current patrons checking out books from the library are eligible to register for the laptop computer. You are needed to encourage family members, friends, teachers, students, business associates, etc. to apply for their library cards.  During the next two months, we hope to increase the number of library patrons as well as product circulation. 

You and yours are invited to the library for the TumbleBook Library  announcement, demonstration, and reception on Monday, February 14,  at 4 pm.  We will present information on the numerous activities planned for Children and Adults during the next two months as we ReaTumble into Books and Get Caught Reading!
