"Visit Hopkinsville" Free App for iPhone is Now Available for Download
Visitors and residents of Hopkinsville, Ky., now have a valuable resource at their fingertips. Red Pixel Studios and Hopkinsville – Christian County Convention & Visitors Bureau announced recently that the "Visit Hopkinsville" App is now available on the App Store for free download.
The popular destination, known as the birthplace of Edgar Cayce, developed the Visit Hopkinsville App with Red Pixel Studios of Owensboro, Ky., so that visitors can get information with a few flicks of their finger using their Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
The Visit Hopkinsville App enables users to find out about the area’s many wonderful attractions – from the numerous outdoor recreational areas to the museums displaying the heritage of southwest Kentucky, Fort Campbell, and the nation’s first poet laureate, Robert Penn Warren – as well as options for lodging and dining.
The Attractions section provides users a convenient way to plan to
attend the many offerings of the area, while the Events section lets
them know about youth and adult sports tournaments, festivals and
celebrations around Hopkinsville.
The App also keeps fans up to date with Announcements and News from
Hopkinsville, so they can be sure to get the latest information and
reminders of upcoming happenings.
Considering today’s demand for the most current and up-to-date technology, The Hopkinsville – Christian County Convention & Visitors Bureau wants to offer visitors a convenient way to learn about everything this area has to offer.
“The App really gives us a powerful tool to connect visitors with Hopkinsville and Christian County,” said Cheryl Cook, Executive Director, Hopkinsville – Christian County Convention & Visitors Bureau. “It lets us use the latest technology to promote a vibrant community that offers so many opportunities to explore, play and learn.”
The Hopkinsville – Christian County Convention & Visitors Bureau selected Red Pixel Studios to develop the App because they were able to incorporate the numerous features they wanted at a very low cost.
“We are excited to have had the opportunity to develop the Visit
